We bring the attention of readers of Mechanics and Foundry a statement from Fabrizio Belli, Commercial Director of GBM Srl, regarding the current Covid-19 crisis: "Reopening is necessary, necessary to try to restore the machinery that produces GDP, for our human resources and from a purely psychological perspective.

We must win this war and wars are not won by being holed up like rats in the cellar or sticking our heads in the sand like ostriches. We must fight together by taking the necessary precautions and a lot of common sense in the workplace, which must also be applied in life daily. Nothing will be the same as before, but we must try to make life liveable and, above all, let us draw inspiration from it to improve ourselves.

Nobody will give us anything, if we want to recover and win this war we must do it alone - for Italy and for our people. Sometimes politics makes no sense, it does not live everyday situations and is distant from the people. Now, we must react and stand up - we have to get Italy back to as competitive and strong as we were. To desire is to do, we do not need Governors who boast of an Italian model praised and taken as an example by EU member states.

I was always taught as a boy that 'he who has nothing to boast about, boasts about himself. Here, we need a round table table between the Government, Companies, Banks and social partners. We need this because the situation that grips Italy is the same in the rest of the world but only those who react first will win and change the rules!!! We have to do it now… ”
